On the 20th December 2020 we'd raised £10,000 with 82 supporters in 33 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 20th December 2020 we'd raised £10,000 with 82 supporters in 33 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We deliver creative and therapeutic performing art classes at care homes, schools and nurseries all across London. We also run a performing arts academy in Haringey, for children age 4+ and adults. Our mission is to make the arts and their benefits accessible to as many people as possible. We do this by keeping our prices accessible, maintaining inclusivity during each workshop and tailoring classes to the individuals we work with. We strongly and passionately believe that the practice of any art form is a powerful and therapeutic tool to any person's development, from toddlers at nurseries, to elderly residents at care homes.
Our team is made up of self-employed performers, teachers and art-based therapists who all share a strong passion for making a difference in their communities through the use of the arts. Our classes include dance, yoga, self-expression, drama, storytelling, music, art and more.
Since the lockdown in March, we have been unable to visit any of our clients in care homes, schools or nurseries and we had to suspend live services at our academy.
Covid-19 has had a massive impact on our business as we have lost over 90% of our income. We were not eligible for any of the government grants as we do not own our own premises and as a result, we have not received any financial support during the pandemic.
We aim to raise £10 000, to enable us to keep operating during this tough year, maintain payroll, cover expenses and survive as a company. Receiving this money will guarantee the re-employment of our staff and it will provide some cash flow to push us forwards. This financial support will also enable us to offer scholarships to some of our young students who are now unable to attend our classes as their families have also lost their income due to covid-19. We will also offer monthly free online workshops for adults in the UK, focusing on mindfulness through yoga, fitness through dance and mental stimulation through drama-based workshops.
