Who are we?
Move Momentum is a local charity based in Winchester that aims to make dance accessible to everyone. We provide weekly dance classes for older adults, people with disabilities and people with long-term health conditions.
We believe that dance is for everyone. We strive to make this a reality.
Why we need your help?
We need your support to continue our amazing work and enable us to launch two new classes this year. We have a number of projects we hope to launch over the next year, and we need your help kicking things off.
We hope to offer both those over 50 and people with a visual impairment in Winchester the opportunity to participate in tailored, supportive and enjoyable dance classes that are easily accessible due to their affordability and tailored location. We want to create a safe, welcoming and trusting environment where people can come to learn, gain confidence, explore and socialise.
How will the money be used?
The money will be used to support the running costs for Move Momentum's existing work as well as launch two new projects, one for over 50s and one for people with visual impairments. £4000 will help us to keep providing accessible dance and bringing the opportunity to dance to even more people.
