Improve facilities for cricket in our community. Family orientated club to enjoy safe green space. Provide Cricket facilities for all ages
The first hospital on the site opened in 1878 and was a convalescent home for children from Liverpool workhouses. During the first world war, it treated shell-shocked soldiers, with lots of gardens and green space. Most of that gone, this is all that’s left.
The surrounding area has been developed into housing estates and industrial park, previously a prison was to be developed. Our chairman and retired groundsman have battled with local councils and developers to keep the cricket ground.
Our chairmans affiliation with the club started when he was a young man fielding at fine leg with his father a member of the club. Over the years we have had several father and son‘s play for mossidemaghull cricket club. At one time three generations of one family.

We want this green space to stay for generations to come, and to encourage other families to play cricket and enjoy the space.
With your help the club is ready for the next part of our journey and fight to keep these facilities as part of our community and everyone to enjoy the green space.
With your help we can improve our facilities for playing cricket, we want to raise funds.
