Build a Mosque Project

Aim

The purpose of this project is to build a mosque preferably in Egypt or Africa.

Hello all, 

I hope you’re all doing well and keeping safe. This fundraiser has been set up in memory of my beloved grandmother who passed away back in October 2020.My grandma was a very giving person and always taught me to give back to others. Saying that I would love to continue her legacy by giving back to the less fortunate and what a better way of doing that by contributing to building a mosque.

It has been narrated that the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah – be it large or small – Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

I am open to accepting donations from anyone who would like to contribute to the cause by giving sadaqah jariyah on behalf of themselves or a family member they love dearly. The cost of this project would be around £10000. Ideally, I would like to donate all I have raised during the holy month of Ramadan as there are many mosques in the process of being built but are being held back due to financial difficulties. I will of course keep you all updated on how things go and be sure to show you all the end result.
