#MoreThanACall - Age UK Lancashire's Winter Appeal

Aim

Our #MoreThanACall Winter Appeal aims to fund 2,000 additional calls to ensure older people of Lancashire get support they desperately need.

Age UK Lancashire is the local charity helping to support older people of Lancashire, ensuring they can live a happy, healthy and independent life at home. 

‘More than a Call’ is Age UK Lancashire’s Winter Appeal, helping to raise much needed funds for our Information Helpline. 

Last winter, the demand for our helpline increased by 50% to 8,070. 

The demand for this service rises year on year, and with no funding we rely on donations so we can support older people with the increasing challenges they face. 

We know this year, the need for help will be greater than ever and our advisors will be answering more calls than ever before. Each call costs £3 to answer, but the reward for helping someone is far greater. We want to ensure we can answer at least 2000 more calls this winter by raising £6000. 

By donating £3 to our winter appeal, you can be sure that an older person living in Lancashire who needs our support will receive the care and support.
