In Trafford, every council seat will be up for re-election in May 2023. We're aiming to elect more Green councillors by raising £5000.

In Trafford, every council seat will be up for re-election in May 2023 and we know that we can overtake the Tories but we need your help.

More Green voices are vital for the environment and your support can get us over the winning line in this unique chance to become the main opposition on the council. 

Our campaigners and local residents are keeping energy levels high with leafleting and door-knocking all year round. But this costs vital money, and as Greens, we raise all our funding from members and supporters. We don't get donations from big corporations or trade unions. 

Since Dan, Geraldine and Michael were elected, Jane Leicester became the first non-Tory councillor in Hale winning 50% of the vote in 2022. Both Hannah and Owain are working hard to gain two more seats there. Last May, Gareth Twose held a strong second place in Bowdon. Now, working alongside Kate and Bridget they all need your support to get over the line!

There is so much to do to be certain of winning. Every £100 will gift an extra leaflet for almost 5000 households. £20 gifts over 1000 calling cards to residents, with £10 an extra 30 posters!

We rely on the dedication and hard-work of volunteers. Please share far and wide with friends and family! Donate generously if you possibly can!

Being ethically funded, we rely on grassroots donations to support our cause. Any generous gift can help bring more green voices on the council. 

• Greens in Trafford succeeded in putting forward a Climate Emergency motion in 2018, and you can help us to hold the council to account.
• Greens have been pushing for safer streets, and campaigned widely for 20mph speed limits where people live.

Ahead, we are ready for a General Election now, with three PMs in as many months. Geraldine Coggins is our Green Party candidate for Altrincham and Sale West. You can donate to support funding deposits for our campaign!
