The aim of my project is to help everyone in the local area get the mental health support they need. From tots to adults no age is a limit.
I am a young mum of 25 with 3 children, they are my drive to make a success of this project, my son in particular as he will be able to come to work with me as-well.
My idea is a mental health support cafe, it will have toys etc for children so they can come along while the parents get the much needed support they may be searching for. I will also run set events for tots & teens. I will ontop of this offer Skype support or phone calls/ texts for the people that don’t have a way of getting to my cafe or maybe don’t feel they can even leave the house.
My vision is as described above but my starting point will be offering the calls/ meeting people on a one to one basis and a small start with mental health support in a calm location where children will be welcome, the money raised will help me get the space to start this business in the hope that I can then set up a cafe of my own so that I have a set place where people can come for the support and also to unwind and relax while their children play.
