Montrose Music Fest 2024

Aim

Montrose Music Fest is an annual live music event. We bring the community together to celebrate local artists, bands and singer/songwriters.

Montrose Live Music Company consists of a team of volunteers with the aim of arranging community events for all ages. These events, it is hoped, can be provided free to attendees, whilst also boosting trade for local businesses. 

Montrose Music Fest is our main project consisting of an annual free community event in May, celebrating the many local singers, bands and singers/songwriters. For our 2024 event, we have 20+ venues hosting music acts and have had in excess of 80 band applications. 

Whilst sponsorships from local businesses greatly supports our festival brochure, venues have individual costs for their acts over the weekend, some requiring additional equipment or support with funds.

In addition to our venues, our High Street event provides a family friendly area where all ages can come together to listen to our homegrown acts perform, see our local dance company showcase its talents and.enjoy the festivities.

Money raised from Crowdfunding will support this project in its entirety:

•Assisting venues, artists and local businesses. •Obtaining licences, insurances and safety implementation and any associated costs involved in providing a safe environment for our community. 

•Printing, posters, social media and promotional costs.

Montrose Live Music Company’s ultimate aim is not only to ensure Montrose Music Fest stays with us for many years to come but that we can bring other events to our community for all to enjoy!
