Help us keep the flames of Montol alive this winter. Montol festival is this year being run by a small team of volunteers. The festival is free and accessible for all. Our vision is for fabulous parades, fires, fire dancers and for the late night parade to be a torchlit spectacle. We have enough to cover the basic costs such as insurance and road closures and are now hoping to raise enough money to buy safe torches and pay fire stewards for our torchlight parade and also pay the fabulous fire dancers who have performed at the festival in the past.
£1,000 will keep the flames alive and safe by paying for torches, fire dancers and stewards
We are also running free workshops during the week before. These too are led by volunteers, and include singing and dancing, costume and mask making, history and Cornish language. There should be something for everyone of all ages and abilities to get involved with. Help us to keep this fabulous free festival burning brightly and safely this winter. See you on 21st December!
