Help the Montol Magic Burn Bright!
Every December, Montol transforms our streets with Guise dancing, the glow of the Mock (our Yule log), and spontaneous performances that feel like pure magic. It’s a living tradition—shaped by the community, for the community.
There are no scripts. No rules. Just people quietly preparing in secret—making costumes, practising music, crafting lanterns—and then coming together to create something extraordinary. It’s mysterious, joyful, and deeply rooted in who we are.
But this year, costs have risen sharply. And while we’re incredibly, extremely and astonishingly grateful for the support from Penzance Council, we urgently need to raise £3,500 to make Montol 25 safe, inclusive, and unforgettable.
Your support will help us:
- 🔥 Build safe, beautiful bonfires with a reusable fire beacon
- 🕯️ Provide torches, more torches and safety gear for the torchlit procession
- 🚧 Ensure stewards and road closures keep everyone safe and cared for
