The Monster 2027: Postponed, But Unstoppable The struggle is real, but the will is stronger. I am facing "The Monster"

The Journey So Far

In May 2021, my life changed forever. I survived a near-death experience battling severe sepsis. That battle left me in critical care and cardiology for weeks, but the "silent killer" left behind permanent damage: muscle wastage, a weakened immune system, and organ damage. Most significantly, it damaged my heart, resulting in Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) , atrial flutter and SVT.

The physical toll was matched by a mental one—I was diagnosed with PTSD, suffer even more from anxiety, depression and panic attacks. For the last 5 years, I have been in a constant state of rehab, battling through the darkest months of my life.

I constantly kept challenging my body & mind over last years, firstly just by moving around house then walking and going out into the world, talk to people. Then by more intense physical activities, going back to work after months, then increasing the challenges level. Now, I decided to push even further. I'm taking on this huge international challenge - Monster triathlon 2027.

The Recent Setbacks

I originally intended to take on this challenge sooner. However, my heart had other plans. In 2024, I underwent a heart procedure, followed by two more heart procedures in January 2025.

Because of these medical necessities, my "Monster" challenge has been moved to 2027. While my body needed time to heal, my spirit hasn't moved an inch. I am still standing. I am still fighting.

“The Monster 2027: Postponed, Not Defeated.”

I was supposed to take on the Monster Triathlon in 2025.

Life had other plans.

My heart had other plans.

Three heart surgeries.

Endless injuries — including spinal.

Immune system wrecked from sepsis.

A small tumour found in my brain.

Depression. Anxiety. Panic attacks.

Personal battles that would break most people.

Health hasn’t magically improved.

Some days it feels worse.

But the fire?

The fire is still there.

So I’m announcing it again — louder this time:

I’m doing the Monster Triathlon in 2027.

Not for charity.

Not for glory.

Not for likes.

For awareness.

For demons.

For fear.

For change.

For LIFE.

I’m doing it because I know what it’s like to be terrified to get out of bed.

To relearn how to walk.

To eat with shaking hands.

To sit in silence listening to your heartbeat, praying it stays steady.

To rebuild your life from zero while pretending you’re fine.

I’m doing it because someone out there is living that same darkness right now — and they need to see that broken doesn’t mean finished.

The Monster Triathlon 2027

5km swim in Loch Ness.

1,000km cycle over 5 brutal days.

50km ultra marathon into London.

A challenge that scares me.

A challenge that excites me.

A challenge that will change me.

This isn’t a charity fundraiser.

This is a survival project.

A transformation project.

A “prove to myself I’m still here” project.

The funds I’m raising cover the massive costs — travel, entry fees, accommodation, medical-safe training, equipment, nutrition.

Not for profit.

Just to make the journey possible.

If you want to support me, share my story, donate, or simply send a message — it all helps more than you know.

I’m not doing this because I’m healthy.

I’m doing this because I refuse to give up.

Monster 2027 is happening.

Delayed, but not defeated.

Broken, but still moving.

Terrified, but unstoppable.

Let’s go.

The Challenge: The Monster Triathlon 2027

I am pushing my body and mind to the absolute limit by taking on an international feat of endurance. The Monster Triathlon is a grueling journey from Loch Ness, Scotland, to London, England:

5km Swim in the icy waters of Loch Ness.

1,000km Cycle over 5 days.

50km Ultra Marathon finish in London.

Why I Am Doing This

I know what it’s like to be terrified to get out of bed. I know the humiliation of not being able to eat with your own hands or walk to the bathroom. I know the exhaustion of being hyper-fixed on your own heartbeat just to make sure you're still alive.

I am doing this to be a role model for anyone trapped in that same darkness. You don’t have to do a "Monster" challenge, but I want to encourage you to take that one step closer to the light. If I can go from a hospital bed to a 1,000km cycle, you can overcome your struggle too.
