MONILO - delightful luxury handmade shoes for children
Hi, my name is MONIKA KRAUZE-BOUZIANE and I’m the founder of MONILO – a new brand that makes luxury children’s shoes.
I believe that the purpose of any business should be the anchor point for the whole brand experience to evolve from.
At MONILO we’re striving to create world’s finest handmade shoes for children!
Like many other start-up stories - the trigger to start my business and to embark upon this journey was very simple- I struggled to find what I was looking for –simple, classic and most importantly well-structured shoes for my son.
So I’ve asked myself: what if....
What if there are other parents like me who care not only about a beautiful design or a product for their children but also, like me, are conscious about giving their children the right foot support from the very start?
I want the best things in life for my child... And although the best things in life aren’t really material, some material things CAN MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE in one's life. Today I know CHILDREN’S SHOES are one of those things. Because I’ve realised how important those FIRST STEPS are - they impact the way we walk, the way our joints and spine forms for the rest of our lives.
Our team is like a big family with one goal- we want to create comfort and joy with our products. We want them to be special because we feel that children are special. And we all absolutely love what we do! Our craftsmen put many years experience and knowledge in shoemaking to construct perfect shoes with lots of thought, care and love.
We only use the highest quality materials out there –top grade leather together with real palladium and real rose gold hardware. We make special editions, special customised orders for our clients and we have many ideas on how to grow and surprise you with new things.
This is what MONILO stands for. We’re a story of love, family, and gratitude of precious moments that life gives us. We represent a NEW ERA OF LUXURY: one built on nostalgia, imagination, stories of those touching moments, as well as an appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship.
Our story has evolved from a love of our own little ones, and formed out of an authentic consideration of the future, and the legacy we leave behind for them.
