Money, Meals and Me is a financial wellbeing programme designed to help primary-aged children develop practical money skills for life!
Who are we?
Rethink Food works with schools and communities to tackle food insecurity, improve wellbeing and give children the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
Money, Meals and Me will bring financial education to life through something every child understands, food and shopping…helping children build money skills for life.
Working with six primary schools across Leeds, Bradford, Doncaster and Wakefield, we'll help children explore budgeting, saving, needs and wants, value for money, food waste and making smart choices.
Why does it matter?
Families are facing increasing financial pressure, while many children have limited opportunities to learn practical money skills.
We want to change that.
Through engaging classroom sessions, children will learn how everyday decisions around food and spending connect to financial wellbeing.
Our £20,000 target will help us:
Because financial wellbeing starts with having the confidence and knowledge to make good choices.
Help us make it happen
Together, we can give children money skills that last a lifetime.
