Help vulnerable people including Afghanistan refugees with debt and money matters so they are able to have a better quality of life
KAG is a small local charity established over 30 years ago to support local vulnerable people. Throughout our history we have developed different projects and services in order to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
KAG has a small team of workers and trained volunteers to help us deliver our services. Our staff include apprentices and people on the government Kickstart scheme so we can provide employment opportunties to as many people as we can.
KAG believe that everyone should have equal access to support, help and assistance. We are wanting to provide a service which is needed by vulnerable people who find themselves in poverty due to their vulnerability and circumstances including refugees from Afghanistan.
Debts and fuel poverty are major issues facing everyone and for those who are vulnerable the situation becomes intolerable.
To make a difference KAG will provide a Money Buddy Project to support vulnerable people with their debt. The project will not only help deal with debt issues such as liaising with creditors but also teaching budgeting tools and skills to help people stay out of debt in the future.
The support will result in practical outcomes of helping people in poverty and financial inclusion with the rest of society.
Money Buddy will help people have improved health and wellbeing.
