Molly's Seven Summits!

Aim

By June 2029, I will be the youngest Scottish woman to climb the highest peak in each of the seven continents.

I am aiming to be the youngest Scottish woman to climb the Seven Summits - the highest mountain on each of the seven continents. 

Growing up, I experienced years of severe bullying, which left me with very little confidence. I became terrified of putting myself out there and spent years trying to make myself invisible. That all began to change when I joined The Polar Academy, a charity that completely transformed my life. Through adventure, teamwork and pushing myself beyond what I thought was possible, I slowly rediscovered my confidence and was no longer afraid to be seen.

The Seven Summits represents the complete opposite of the person I once was. I want to stand on the highest point of every continent and be seen by the world. I want to show people who may be struggling with their confidence or facing similar struggles, that they don't have to hide, and that they are capable of achieving extraordinary things.

The Polar Academy was my turning point, I hope I can become a turning point for someone else.

The seven summits are:

Mount Everest - 8,849 m

Aconcagua - 6,961 m

Denali - 6,190 m

Mount Kilimanjaro - 5,895 m

Mount Elbrus - 5,642 m

Mount Vinson - 4,892 m

Carstensz Pyramid (Puncak Jaya) - 4,884 m
