The cries of Palestine echo through Gaza’s shattered streets — from Rafah, now emptied, to Shuja’iyya and Al-Zaitoun, where entire communities lie in ruins. From Beit Hanoun to Khan Younis, families are told to flee again and again. But to where?
There are no safe zones left.
Displaced families are forced into overcrowded shelters, fragile tents, and bombed-out streets. Homes are gone. Schools lie in rubble. Hospitals are overwhelmed. The dead remain beneath the ruins — among them Sajida, a mother-to-be, martyred alongside her husband and unborn twins.
Gaza is starving. No bread. No clean water. No gas. No safety. Only hunger, fear, and the constant sound of drones and missiles.
And yet, we cannot turn away.
This year marks 30 years since Bosnia endured its own suffering. In Sarajevo, I will be supporting my fellow comrades who will be running a race on Sunday 21st September 2025 whose work is dedicated solely to Gaza — carrying with me the memory of Bosnia’s resilience and the urgent call to aid Palestine today.
On the ground, IF Charity is delivering food, medical supplies, and clothing to families who have lost everything. This run is more than miles; it is solidarity, compassion, and hope in motion.
