Aim: Enhance the changing rooms by adding separate shower facilities for men and women.
Swansea Mosque and Islamic Centre is a spacious Grade II listed building that includes a sports hall. What makes the centre unique is its ability to offer separate sports activities for men and women, respecting the cultural norms of the community. However, the facility currently lacks dedicated changing rooms with showers for both men and women. While separate toilets are available, they are not suitable for this purpose. Our vision is to modernise the existing toilet space and develop well-equipped changing rooms with showers, providing greater convenience and comfort for those using the sports hall.
