What is Maryhill Open Artspace?

We are a supportive, creative community of around 65 members, providing access to pottery and screen-printing facilities, at an affordable price.

Maryhill Open Artspace is a registered Community Interest Company, which means we operate for the benefit of our community, in a fair and financially sustainable way, with all profits reinvested into the studio.

What will this campaign fund?

1679051388_screen_printing.jpgWe opened in May 2022 in temporary premises, to test demand, and we have rapidly outgrown our space! Working with our fantastic members we now have six-months to secure new premises, then we can start the exciting process of settling in to our permanent home. Creative Scotland will match individual pledges up to £10,000. So if you pledge £20 it will be matched with a £20 pledge from Creative Scotland, effectively doubling your contribution!

1679051693_family_painting.jpgThis campaign will fund:
- A move to larger permanent premises
- Much more shelving
- A second kiln
- A large sink
- Electrician and plumbers fees
- An extruder
- A slab roller
-Dedicated space for printmaking
- Jewellery making facilities
