Miss Rogers' retirement date is fast approaching, and the FOC would like to organise a retirement gift on behalf of the parent body.

Many of you may have noticed a pair of paintings which hang in Miss Rogers' office:  they are by the artist Roy Prentice, a very good friend of Miss Rogers' mother.  The paintings are currently on loan, and to mark her retirement we'd like to acquire one of the paintings for her so that she can take them home to remember her time at The Cavendish.

We'd like to keep contributions to Miss Rogers' retirement gift fund flexible, so rather than class collections we've gone down the route of organising a crowdfunder.  The suggested contribution per family is £5:  we're aware that many families, particularly in the early years, may have had less interaction with her and therefore may want to review any contribution in that context.  Conversely there are parents particularly in the older years who may have had more extensive interactions and therefore may wish to give more:  it's entirely up to you, the hope is by keeping it flexible we'll raise enough to be able to purchase one painting.

We'd be grateful if parents can provide contributions via this site by the 11th of December so that we are able to acquire the painting in time.
