Aim

Please Support! We need facilities to improve our thriving community women and junior cricket sections.

Who are we?

We are a small local cricket club run by volunteers. We welcome and provide opportunities for junior and senior players of all ethnicities and genders to come together to play, and benefit from high quality coaching, building strong relationships and social engagement.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have recently launched a women and girls cricket section which has become hugely popular, as well as offering tots, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 junior mixed team cricket. An artificial wicket (all weather) is an integral part of our ability to provide sports opportunities. We would like to continue to improve our facilities and be able to offer sport and social inclusion to more women and juniors by funding the installation of another artificial wicket.

These are expensive items and Sport England have agreed to fund 50% of the project on the condition that we are able to raise funds for the remaining amount.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We will use the full amount raised to install a new artificial wicket for the sole benefit of our growing women and junior cricket teams.

Community impact

We provide ECB grade 2 qualified coaches and along with other volunteers we coach and enhance the lives of around 100 local women and young people, by coaching and managing teams ranging from tots to under 17s, and rapidly growing women and girls teams.
