Aim
We are setting up a website to support our Minimal Waste community, by showcasing eco businesses online and offering a range of workshops.
Our aim is to create a space where people can find out where to shop, and also how to make simple changes with:
-minimal waste
-minimal plastic
-minimal inconvenience
-minimal effort
Our story so far...
Minimal Waste Markets grew from us having tried to reduce our waste and aim to be plastic free but we struggled to stick to it. There are lots of businesses popping up all over Hampshire and the surrounding area providing all sorts of innovative and interesting ways of reducing waste. We have brought many of these together in one space where they can trade to the general public and make it attainable for people to make easy changes.
Our vision...
Having had two very popular markets earlier in the year, we are now replicating this success online by bringing together our existing businesses plus much more on a new website.
How we will use the money raised...
With your support and that of Winchester City Council's Projects That Matter, we will host a series of free workshops. These will be a combination of learning, sharing ideas and practical ways to minimise waste in our lives.
