Aim

Project update: Due to injury I am unable to run the marathon this year so have deferred to next year where I will try again!

Please note! This is a book being created in aid of Mind and is not an official Mind book. 

Have you ever thought that you have a book in you, if only you could actually sit down and write it? Or would you like to be immortalised in print? Perhaps a special person in your life has a big celebration or event coming up (child/ birthday/ wedding) I have the answer!

I am running the London Marathon for Mind this year. It is a charity I have been involved with for many years in many ways. As a member of staff, fundraiser and also service user. I want to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity but I know there is a lot of giving fatigue out there and so I want to offer you something for your donation.

I am combining three of my passions; running, mental health and.... writing.

The plan is that I am going to write a book. This will be a real life book that will end up being sold on Amazon (as an e-book and paperback) One of my many identities is as an Indie author.

The difference here is that althought I will write this book much of it will be crowdsourced meaning I am going to have to relinquish control and be a mere puppet for your ideas, stories and characters.

All raised will go directly to Mind as part of my fundraising target for running the London Marathon. When the book is on sale (and obviously a bestseller with all these creative minds behind it!) then the profits will also be donated to Mind.
