In the UK during 2022-2023, nearly 1 million children were referred to CAMHS for mental health support—8% of our young population. Sadly, 270,300 are still waiting for consultation, and of those who received treatment, 40,000 waited over two years.
This is a mental health crisis.
We must shift how we view children’s mind wellbeing, making prevention a priority.
At Mind Wellbeing, we believe in fostering positive core beliefs from the start. Our programme, designed for children as young as four, promotes a lifelong understanding of mind wellbeing, reducing the need for repair later in life.
Our whole-school approach embeds a mindset of wellbeing for staff, students, and parents alike. It combines coaching, daily rituals, wellness practices, and workshops. We ensure that visual, auditory, read/write, and kinaesthetic learners are supported, with neurodiversity always in focus.
Our mission is to reverse the alarming trends by equipping children with tools to build strong self-awareness and manage both their internal and external worlds. We believe this education is essential—more than mental health awareness, children need the skills to understand themselves, manage emotions, and communicate openly from an early age.
In just six months, we've empowered and strengthened the lives of many children and parents. So many schools need our help, and want our programme but struggle with budgets.
“Parent training has truly opened my eyes to the power of language in shaping my child’s positive self-belief and mind wellbeing.”
“We're already seeing improvements in how children regulate emotions. We look forward to embedding this across our school.”
"Well done, this work is so needed and extremely informative. Thankyou for what you are doing for us, and our little ones."
"You have changed how we as a school refer to SEMH, and we now collectively understand this as Social, Emotional and Mind Health. We hope to have your work in our school in the near future."
"Thankyou so much, I felt like I took so much from this. My friend who's little one isn't at this school, thought you were fantastic, and really hopes you get to work with him in his school."
Now, we’re taking action to reach as many children as possible!"
On October 19th, our team (currently 15 and counting!) will climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise funds to offer our training for free to local schools.
It costs £2,750 to deliver our programme and provide resources for one school, reaching around 120 children. Every £2,750 raised will fund preventative education and training for another school—free of charge.
Join us in ensuring every child receives the support they deserve.
I’m Hannah, the driving force behind this mission to create lasting change in matters of the mind. Through this cultural shift toward prevention, we’re helping the next generation, and ourselves, understand feelings, communicate openly, and recognize how important language is in bridging our internal and external worlds.
Inspired by my personal journey and motherhood, I saw the crucial need for early prevention and proactive support to build the foundation for our children’s futures.
Our team is climbing mountains—literally and spiritually—to build a brighter future for our children, and the world.
