From the beginning of the first lockdown to now, Edible London has gone from a small grassroots organisation providing 200 meals worth of ingredients each week, to a budding forest hitting an incrEdible ONE MILLION MEALS being distributed FREE OF CHARGE!

From the distribution team (organising, packing, and working on the ground with partner organisations and community cook ups), to the amazing quality control team helping to sort through surplus, to our farming team (composting the food not fit for purpose and growing food to be both sold at markets, and given out free to our communities), all the way to the drivers and admin teams, along with key operating costs like premises and making up the shortfall on the much needed food, there are a lot of things that need to come together to make the magic at Edible London come to life.

And we've worked out, from as little as 50p, you can help support the magic it takes to provide the essential raw ingredients for a single free meal. 

However, despite these numbers being nothing short of a miracle, making it happen has not been easy, and would not have been possible without the infinite love, support and solidarity from our community since day one.

But we are only just warming up. In support of Crowdfunder's 'All I want for Christmas is Food' campaign (in order to #FeedGreatBritain) and off the back of our own milestone of hitting ONE MILLION MEALS, we want to get the ball rolling and raise £200k to help us on our journey to achieving another million meals. 

Now to help kick-start our journey to the next ONE MILLION MEALS  it's in your hands. Whether it's sharing our crowdfunder page, fundraising on our behalf, or contributing with donations to fund our work, we need you, our family, our friends, our community, to help make it happen. 

And on top of this, to help make our crowdfunder extra special, in the lead up to this Christmas holiday period, we are aiming for our biggest single day of food distribution in Edible London’s history: giving out the equivalent of 50,000 extra meals worth of food in just one single day!
