Aim

Support Millhouses Works Cricket Club in raising funds for a defibrillator in the Park and funds to help improve the facilities at our Club.

Our vision is for this fundraising to raise sufficient funds to be able to provide a defibrillator in Millhouses Park.  Any additional funds will be used towards the fixtures and fittings in our new pavilion.

Your Donations will:-

  •  pay for a much needed defibrillator in Millhouses Park
  •  help improve the facilities at MWCC

The Club

Cricket has been played in and around Millhouses Park since 1860. At Millhouses Works Cricket Club (MWCC) we have more than 200 junior players in 11 teams, three men's teams and thriving girls and women's squads.

The Club tries to make sure that playing cricket is accessible to all in our local community as possible, by keeping the membership fees and match fees to a minimum.

Our club is a strong position socially and has a passionate committee so any support you can offer will be well received and well used.

Facilities Improvements

Our new pavilion is currently being built, with the aid of funding secured from the ECB and a planning gain through Sheffield City Council. It is estimated that the build will be completed by April 2022. We will use any additional funds raised to go towards essential fixtures and fittings in our new pavilion. This includes the scoreboard, clock etc.
