Mike's and Paul's John O Groats to Lands End

Aim
Mike and Paul are taking on the huge challenge of cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End to raise money for Brody’s Trust.
This challenge is about love, friendship, resilience, and honouring a legacy that continues to touch lives.
Paul is a keen cyclist and a trustee of Brody’s Trust. Through his role, he sees first-hand the challenges faced by children and young people with additional needs and the families who support them. He also sees the life-changing impact Brody’s Trust has in creating understanding, inclusion, and opportunities that many families struggle to find elsewhere. Wanting to give something truly meaningful back, Paul came up with a bold idea: to cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End, choosing the toughest route possible - off-road, along dirt tracks, and camping every night.
Mike is not a cyclist at all. But Brody was a huge part of his life, and supporting the Trust that carries Brody’s name continues to matter deeply to him. When Paul shared the idea, Mike knew straight away there was no way his friend should take on such a demanding journey alone. Over time, Mike has made extraordinary changes to prepare for this moment - including losing 9 stone - so he could be strong enough, physically and mentally, to take on the challenge and honour Brody’s legacy. He committed to every mile, no matter how tough it would be.
They are funding this challenge themselves, covering the cost of bikes, specialist kit, camping equipment, and supplies - all of which comes at significant personal expense. They are now looking for sponsorship to help support the journey and ensure as much money as possible goes directly to Brody’s Trust.
