We provide support & diversionary programmes for young men (aged 14-26) & their families in North Edinburgh

Our team at Midnight and Beyond is committed to empowering young men in North Edinburgh through our range of support and diversionary programmes.

With any donation or funding we raise, we aim to not only expand our opportunities but also ensure the continued operation of all our existing services, Midnight & Beyond, Go Beyond, and On Track. This comprehensive approach enables us to create a positive impact across our community by providing ongoing support, skill-building opportunities, and pathways to success for young people at every stage of their journey.

Programmes:

Midnight & Beyond

Our innovative and recognised Midnight & Beyond programme not only focuses on building relationships and offering alternative diversionary activities until 3am in nature but also provides comprehensive support, including one to-one, family and court support, addressing the diverse needs of young men during these crucial hours and beyond. So successful we named the Charity after it!

On Track

Based at our container at Gypsy Brae and outreach work, the "On Track" initiative is a comprehensive programme aimed at removing barriers for young men, supporting them on their journey to employment, and guiding them towards positive destinations. Through this initiative, they acquire valuable skills and access various opportunities, ensuring a pathway to personal and professional growth. Young men can also gain their CSCS green card which enables them to work in the construction industry.

Go Beyond

The Go Beyond programme focuses on providing young men with opportunities to explore and challenge themselves beyond their comfort zones. Through activities like hiking, nature walks, fitness and engaging in outdoor experiences, the programme aims to promote personal growth, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment. It encourages them to go beyond their perceived limits, fostering a positive impact on  their mental well-being and overall development. We also run a 2 day a week programme for young men with reduced timetables/disengaged or at risk of disengaging in school.

Our Outcomes:
- Improved Health and Well-being

- Reduction in Youth Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour

- Increased educational attendance and engagement

- Sustainable positive destinations

We would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you are able to make. Your donation, no matter the amount, plays a vital role in supporting our work and making a positive impact in the lives of young men in our community. Thank you for considering supporting our cause.
