Aim
To provide rescue and rehabilitation support to hedgehogs who are poorly with Edinburgh & the Lothians.
Exciting news - we are starting up a Hedgehog Rescue based in Midlothian!
We do not have a rescue with Edinburgh & the Lothians with many sick hedgehogs having to be transported to either Fife, Dumbarton or the Borders. This is less than ideal for the poorly hedgehog & also relies on volunteer drivers or takes the rescue staff away from their caring duties.
So we are taking the plunge & starting our own rescue within Midlothian, with support & training from Hogwatch Dumbarton Hedgehog Rescue & other Scottish rescues.
We are currently ordering our start up equipment, essential medicines & organising links with the local vet.
However, at the moment this is out of our pockets & the costs are mounting up
WE NEED YOUR HELP! All donations will be used to buy equipemt, vital supplies, food and medicines for the hedgehogs in our care.
*We are volunteers & will not be using any of the donations for wages or personal expenses.
