Aim

Clive S.S intends to send several aspiring legal volunteers to the Middle East this September to combat cases of administrative detention

Renowned human rights lawyer Clive Stafford Smith has set up numerous nonprofit organisations to help young people pursue legal careers. Each year, the organisation takes on volunteer teams of young, aspiring legal professionals and students, giving them the opportunity to work all around the world. 

One of this year's exciting projects is the chance to send a handful of the volunteers to the Middle East and have them address the rampancy of administrative detention cases. Many of the cases the team will be battling have had individuals detained since adolescence, missing periods of their fundamental education and with no clear sign of release.  

This extraordinary opportunity will shape the careers and minds of the next generation of human rights advocates, allowing them to fight for those without voices and access to justice.

With your help, we can raise the funds necessary to get the team there and provide them with visas and accommodation that will allow this crucial legal experience.
