Help Lambeth Green Party get Michael Groce elected in the Coldharbour By-election in September 2018

In May’s local elections the Green Party came second in Lambeth and five Green Party councillors now form the main opposition group holding the council to account. This September, we’re ready to win again in the Coldharbour by-election in Brixton and Michael Groce is just the man for the job.

Who is Mr Groce? What’s his story?

Michael grew up in Brixton in the ‘80s, facing troubles and with few opportunities. He turned that all around and has spent the last 20 years working hard to challenge inequality. He has:

• Helped, coached and supported countless people into work at his Green Man Skills Zone on Coldharbour Lane
• Advocated for members of the Windrush generation unjustly facing deportation
• Kept 20 prolific offenders out of prison for the last two years through his ‘Cutting back the Chaos’ project
• Run work experience for job-seekers in community gardening through the Cherry Orchard project

And that’s all before he’s even elected! With your help, he can do even more good in the council chamber, fighting for our estates, our local businesses, our parks and our libraries.

We are looking to raise £1,500. This money will go towards spreading the Green message through leafletting and canvassing.
