Aim: Campaigning to win the Dundee City West seat for Scottish Labour

Representing our party, our city and her people in Parliament for the past four years has been an honour and a privilege. I have given the job absolutely everything and have earned a reputation as one of the hardest working parliamentarians in Scotland. 

I am seeking election as the member for Dundee City West because I love this city, and want to fight for its bright future. 

It is now less than one year to go until the election - a year to convince the people of Scotland that they can choose change by voting Scottish Labour. A vote for anyone else just means more of the same.

We know where 18 years of SNP failure has led us, with the number of GP surgeries in Dundee down 25% and GP patient lists up 37%; over 16,000 households trapped in temporary accommodation; anti-social behaviour continuing to rise; our schools falling in international league tables. It is little wonder that the SNP are desperate to make this election about anything other than their record in office.  

Scottish Labour will be the positive alterative for Scotland’s future.
