Aim: Our aim is to raise money so our regular meeting place Eto can install a kitchen and toilet/changing facilities for users.
METALIDADS is a support network and friendship group that provides a safe, informal, and caring space for fathers who love rock and heavy metal music. We are based in Barry. Our mission is to support dads of all ages, stages, and experiences and to break down the harmful stereotypes of masculinity that often hinder fathers during their parental journey.
We meet every week at Eto preloved kids store and community cafe By Awesome Wales which is as Community Interest company which helps local groups to meet in the store. They wish to improve the facilities for the groups that meet at the store by installing a kitchen and disabled toilet with changing facilities.
Our aim is to cycle the 300km of the A470 on exercise bikes in the store on the 22nd February to raise funds towards this project which is being match funded by government.
