Message in a Bottle Monologues is a platform for actors and writers to send their messages on a tidal wave of creativity and networking no matter what their background or previous experience!
After numerous online and Sheffield events, we're aiming to raise money to take Message in a Bottle Monologues on tour to Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham and Leeds!
Eight writers living in and around Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds & Nottingham who apply to the project will receive an ‘empty bottle’ to fill with a 2 to 5-minute monologue. Eight actors from each city region will then receive a ‘message in a bottle’ to perform at one of the venues. The matched writers & performers are revealed at the very moment of the performance, creating a fun & exciting networking opportunity during the event!
We take first requests rather than applications to participate in order to promote accessibility into the arts, forging collaborations between people with diverse backgrounds & theatre experience!
Whether you're able to donate £1 or £100 - every penny will help us raise money to afford things like venue hire, paying staff and making the events accessible!
