Built with our community over six years of brewing and three years of the bar. Now we’re growing — be part of what comes next.

We didn’t start Merakai to build just a brewery.

We started it to build something people could be part of.

Nearly six years later, and three years into The Tasting Room, that’s exactly what it’s become — a space for good beer, good people, and something that feels like it belongs to Worthing.

Now we’re ready for the next chapter.

What we’ve built so far

Merakai Brewing Co. started with a simple idea:

craft beer, made with purpose.

Since then, we’ve grown from small-batch brewing into a full working brewery and bar — pouring our own beers, hosting our community, and building something we’re genuinely proud of.

The Tasting Room has become a place where people meet, stay, and come back to.

Not just for the beer — but for the atmosphere, the energy, and the feeling of being part of something local.

Why we’re crowdfunding

We’ve reached a point where we know what this space can be — and what it’s missing.

This crowdfunder is about taking The Tasting Room to the next level.

We want to:

• Expand our tap offering so there’s always something new to try

• Improve the bar experience so it works for how people actually use it

• Create more space for events, collaborations, and community moments

• Keep building a place that feels like home for everyone who walks in
