About Meowtel Blackpool Guesthouse

Your support will help make Meowtel Blackpool an unparalleled Guesthouse and cat café.

 Funding will help us secure this great place.

The premises we are looking to secure will be, located in the heart of Central Blackpool, ideally located close to the beach front/piers. The frontrunning property is a 11 Bed premises located on King Edward Avenue, the property features a large frontage for signage/visibility, a large dining area with a separate Sun lounge and music room to home our Cat Café, bar and lounge and 11 en suite bedrooms.

Our primary service will be our guestrooms with their unique access to our resident cats and after hours, crowd beating visits to our cat café bar and lounge. The cat café will be our secondary service area selling 90 minute time slot reservations to the public as well as having a takeaway counter. We will serve a menu of drinks, light bites, sweet treats and much more with vegan and vegetarian options throughout our ranges.

In the future we plan to offer several additional products and services including a full food menu, custom merchandise, cat grooming, cat boarding, kitty day care and the opportunity for guests to vacation with their own cat/s.

We have a deep, persistent love for Cats, Kittens, Coffee, cakes, communal encouragement, and the pursuit of being unique.

All these loves will be reflected in Meowtel Blackpool Guesthouse.

We are looking to follow our dream and open the UK’s first combined cat café and guesthouse, in the process creating a business that benefits both cats and humans alike. The bonus for us…. being surrounded by CATS all day every day!

About us:

Our founders Steven Beveridge and Say Flohr have over 25 years’ experience in customer service and over 20 years’ experience handling cats combined.

We are passionate cat lovers who believe in the mental and physical benefits of spending time with cats. Our mission is to create an inclusive, unique guesthouse and cat café that both benefits felines and humans whilst also becoming a central and important community hub.
