Aim
We're supporting children with mental-health issues when they're young so that they have the best possible life chances.
Our Vision : To support children with learning difficulties and mental health issues and their families, to live fulfilling, independent and successful lives.
Our Mission: To provide tailored support to children and families at an early stage and ensure that they have the necessary skills to face the future with confidence.
Our Passion: Children in the Charedi community are suffering from mental/emotional health issues. This has increased by 45% since Covid-19 and the cost-of-living crisis.
Our project will provide 31 children who cannot afford therapy expenses with 12 free sessions of emotional therapy to build their resilience and coping mechanisms so they are not doomed to failure in life.
The 12 therapy sessions include an individual assessment with long and short-term targets agreed by the therapist and child so that at the end of the sessions the child will have reached definitive goals in managing his/her mental-health issues. Children who have suffered a crisis, experienced trauma or bereavement will be supported in processing their experience to become more resilient. Children with anxieties and phobias will learn to self-regulate so that they are in control of their emotional state, giving them the power to lead positive, meaningful lives with healthy relationships.
