Yeadon Cricket Club - Members Room Extension

Aim

To extend our current members room as its not fit for purpose. We intend on doubling the size to give members a room to be proud of.

Over recent years we have seen the membership of the club increase rapidly and it now sits at 500+. This is great but also leaves us with a dilenma when we have a booking in the main room. Members are "pushed" in to a small room, with no view and a difficult service area. 

Over the last few years this has caused members to stop coming in on Saturday nights (our key night for the club). The "members" room also has no disabled access. 

We host several other groups at Yeadon Cricket Club and act as a community hub. We have Dragons Running Club, DREAM CIO, a social mobility charity, Avsed Old Mens Group, Aireborough Belters Rounders, Ventus Football Club, Wharefdale Wildcats Rounders Club. We love having them as part of our club but we also struggle with them using a small members room and I know some of the groups are looking at other options as they all grow themselves. We dont want to lose any members but we feel that we willl unless we give them a room where all members are proud to call theirs.

The sign belows shows the logos of all the groups that use the club and will benefit from the members room works.

A major issue with the current room is that there is no toilet or disabled access meaning that DREAM CIO cannot use or access it so when we have funerals booked, DREAM cannot use the building. Also, when a member needs the toilet they have to walk through the "main room" to get to the facilities and when there is a party on, this doesnt feel very comfortable.
