Aim
Help us take care of Meersbrook — introducing the Meersbrook Collective
Meersbrook is a brilliant place to live, work, and spend time. But like every neighbourhood, it needs a little looking after.
The Meersbrook Collective is a new fortnightly community litter picking group, based at Daughters on Valley Road and open to absolutely anyone who wants to get involved.
No agenda, no committees. Just neighbours out on the streets, making things a little better.
Our first pick is Saturday 15 August at 10am. We'll meet at the front of Daughters, pick for an hour, and leave Meersbrook a little tidier than we found it.
What we need
To get the Collective off the ground and keep it running for the first few months, we're raising money for:
Litter grabbers, gloves, bin bags, and bag hoops for volunteers
Posters and leaflets to spread the word and grow the group
Restocking consumables so we can keep going, pick after pick
Every £1 donated goes directly into the group. Nothing else.
Why it matters
A cleaner neighbourhood is good for all of us — it makes Meersbrook a more welcoming place to live, work, and spend time. It's a small act but done together, it makes Meersbrook a better place for all of us.
Please donate what you can, and share this with anyone who loves Meersbrook as much as we do.
Thank you.
