Medical Expenses for my wife Lina. Let down by NHS

The aim is to cover costs of traveling to Lithuania to seek private medical help and investigations into my wife's pains & issues.

Thank you for taking the time to read and help if you choose.

I want and need to help my wife. She is in long term pain and suffering a lot daily.

I want to take her to Lithuania to seek medical help and get investigations and tests done to help treat her.

For over 7 years my wife has been suffering with reoccurring UTI's, abdominal pain, lower back pain, kidney infections etc....

She has been going to the GP with little help, and getting put on antibiotics when pushed. More recently as the GP's dont help with regards to full resolution, she has been going to the Hospital A&E when issues and pain gets too bad.

I say bad because she does all she can to help her self, herbal remedies and green tea's etc... she has suffered from UTI's since a child.

She has been to the hostpitsl more recently in March 2024 & May 2024 and this resulted in a course of anitbiotics both times.

With advice from the last visit to get checked for PID ( Pelvic inflation diseases).

She contacted and arrange to go to South Devon sexual health clinic (3rd June), and got fully examined and screened. Everything came back clear.

Two days later we were on holiday and she had pre booked a gynaecologist check in Lithuania. The doctor was shocked, knew exactly where my wife would be suffering pain, and pointed out many issued.

•Long term UTI infection/build up of infection over a long time.

•Myomar/Fibroid ?

•Crystals in bladder

•Intestinal protrusion into womb

•Inflammation in vagina and womb and surrounding intestines

A urine sample was requested and sent the next morning, which came back with two bacterial infections.  Advise was give and various treatments/antibiotics prescribed.

Two bacterial infections were - KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIAE & ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS.

So from an NHS consultant / Gynaecologist - NOTHING FOUND / SEEN

Lithuanian Gynaecologist - LOTS OF ISSUES AND SERIOUS / LIFE THREATENING - NO CHANGE TO HAVE A CHILD AND SURVIVE.

After holiday she completed her course of antibiotics, probiotics and other treatments.

We have since discovered the NHS dont even test for KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIAE & ENTEROCOCCUS FAECALIS. bacteria's,  even if they did send her urine samples off to the lab.  But, most of the time the urine samples are just dip tested, and if nothing shows they dont even get sent to the lab. This is why my wife went to the hospital and not the GP.

We have since been in written contact with the GP for follow up treatments and referrals.

Urology investigation, gastro intestinal investigation, myomar - (long term plan to measure/monitor and check this), crystals in bladder etc...

with lower abdominal pain, lower back pain etc... a full thorough investigation is needed along with tests to get to the root cause/s.

We no longer trust the NHS, we are not getting any support or help.

The GP referred for an urology investigation, but nothing else. The waiting list for Urology investigation in the UK is 12months.

All whilst my wife feels like she is dieing, in constant agony/pain, and being drained.

She does not feel like she is living.

So, I please ask.  Help me to take her back to Lithuania, support her and get her the treatment and investigations she requires.

There is also a private clinic we found in the UK, called Focus Laboratories. We are currently awaiting some private test results back. FOCUS test for the above bacteria, and talk a lot about the NHS failing woman in this area.
