Why We Need Your Support
The Ashram on Spital Hill has been a vital hub for our community over many years. Volunteers provide a free weekly community meal for up to 75 local people, including those experiencing homelessness, hardship, and social isolation.
Our dilapidated community kitchen desperately needs refurbishing. After years of constant use, the fittings are no longer safe or fit for purpose. To keep providing meals and support, we urgently need to replace:
🔧 Kitchen units
🔧 Surfaces & food preparation areas
🔧 Sinks
🔧 The main cooker / oven
We will source second hand items and the fitting will be done by a local trader.
Without these upgrades, we risk having to reduce or even stop our weekly meals.
