Aim
The historic, 900-year old, Mayfield Church is launching an urgent appeal to replace the church's broken-down boiler.
Mayfield Church is not receiving any funding from the Church of England for the boiler, making community support vital. Without the boiler functioning we cannot run any services, including funerals, weddings and baptisms . We're asking the community to help us buy a new boiler. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to replacing the heating and reopening our church.
An active church, as well as all the services we host community events, such as community choir concerts, Easter egg hunts and last year many events for our 900th birthday celebrations.
