Help our beloved Martha get the specialised medical care she needs to heal from debilitating chronic pain & fatigue 💜
The Cause
For the past four years, Martha has been struggling with chronic pain in her side/back, which has triggered a range of other symptoms from the stress on her body, including prolonged migraine flare ups, muscle weakness, faintness, chronic fatigue, periods of blindness and more. These symptoms flare up unpredictably and often become totally debilitating, making it nearly impossible to work consistently or look after her young son Elif, age 4.
The funds raised here will help Martha get expert medical care from chronic fatigue and back pain specialists—to get some tests done to identify the root cause of these symptoms, and find real solutions to hopefully get our girl on a road to a full recovery!

PLEASE NOTE: Some of these prizes are for local pickup only / redeemable only in the Hay-on-Wye, Wales area. If you live elsewhere, we will contact you to try to sort out collection/postage, but if we can't come to a mutually agreeable arrangement, you will be offered a 60min remote Reiki or Tarot session with Johanna Warren as an alternative.

Anyone who has ever met Martha knows what a gift she is to the world. A pure heart who radiates kindness to all creatures, Martha is a devoted mother, traditional beehive maker, activist, partner and friend to many. In addition to being an amazing mum to Elif, it's rare to see Martha without some vulnerable baby animal she's recently rescued from the side of the road nestled in her hair or taking shelter in the folds of her skirt. In the last two years Martha has been tirelessly committed to raising awareness and fundraising around the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. So it just feels right to give a little something back.
It can be incredibly frustrating and isolating trying to navigate chronic mystery illnesses, and mind-bogglingly expensive to see holistic practitioners and private specialists. All of this is made so much worse, of course, by the fact that being unwell can seriously impact your finances! To have to navigate all this while also being a mother to a little one is more than anyone should have to bear alone. Let’s come together as a community to get our beloved Martha the support and care she deserves!
