Martha and Liv’s World Scout Jamboree Journey

Aim

We are 2 Scouts from Cumbria fundraising to attend the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland, a truly once in a lifetime adventure!

Hello! We are two sisters from Cumbria, and we have been selected to represent Kentdale Scouts in the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk, Poland, in 2027.

This is an incredible opportunity for us to join other young people across the UK and all over the world to camp at this truly international event that promotes peace, friendship, and global unity, bringing together young people from many different cultures and backgrounds.

The Jamboree only takes place once every four years, so for both of us this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we will not be eligible to take part in again as Scouts. To attend, we must each raise £3,500, which will cover travel, accommodation, activities, training, and essential equipment. A key aspect of Scouting is caring for others, and supporting and including those less fortunate, so part of the money we raise as the UK Contingent will contribute to the costs for Scouts from less affluent countries, allowing them to attend the Jamboree. 

We are extremely excited about this opportunity, especially as we get to experience it together, and are committed to fundraising, volunteering, and representing Cumbria and the UK with pride. We are very grateful for any support or donations you are able to give—thank you for helping us take part in this unforgettable experience.
