We're still collecting donations
On the 28th June 2022 we'd raised £1,770 with 14 supporters in 126 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The idea for Marlborough Festival was born when residents Sandra Bhatia and Luke Jackson recognised a need to rejuvenate the beautiful historical town of Marlborough and celebrate its communities in the aftermath of Covid.
Drawing on their backgrounds in festival production (Sandra) and television (Luke), they propose a 3-day community music & arts festival in July 2023.
Marlborough Festival 2023’s aim is to showcase the Best of Marlborough, Wiltshire and the South West, in the form of music, food & drink, spoken word and the Arts.
Like the much-loved and much-missed Jazz Festival that went before, Marlborough Festival will feature music on multiple stages and in venues throughout the town.
Our musical offering will cover more musical genres and we aim to showcase the best new local talent, alongside the main headliners.
Local Food & Drink will also be championed, with a mix of restaurateurs, producers and growers from the area, and the finest wines, beers and spirits right on our doorstep.
There will be a full programme of electrifying talks, featuring notable people with unexpected links to Wiltshire.
This will announce the Festival to the world and get everyone excited, as well as help raise additional funds (planning and development ) for the main event in 2023.
The Launch will be a taster of the main event, with speakers, exhibitors, and musical performances, and hopefully with a few glasses of bubbly and some nibbles too!
The planning and development money raised will help support initial costs around the programming, planning, production, marketing, suppliers and recruitment for both events, and further fundraising.
Everybody we've spoken to, from young to old, seems to feel the same way: it's something we all want to see happen.
We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support from the community so far, so thank you!
last year we canvassed High Street businesses about the Festival, and many of them have donated gifts as 'rewards' to encourage donations from the public. These rewards are highlighted, and more are coming, so please check back regularly.
