Mark's Ordination Stole

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share the first photos of my stole with you. I am so grateful that it has turned out well! I snuck into my church a couple of days ago and took a few photos of it. The story has been picked up by my Diocese who have put it up here but I wanted you to see it first. [photos below]

I am now currently on a pre-ordination retreat, and am staying in a small one-room Air BnB in Malmesbury, just 5 minutes walk away from the Abbey where I will be spending the next 3 days.

I'd appreciate your prayers as I prepare for ordination. Particularly as I allow myself to process my Dad's death. Up until now, I haven't had time or space to allow myself to grieve properly, but I sense that this will now happen during my retreat. 

Once again, thank you for making this a reality. My family and I are so grateful. This stole will accompany me for the rest of may ministerial life: in church, weddings, funerals, civic functions, etc and I hope h the message of Christ will be a blessing to many.
