Mark from London National Park City and his Jack Russell, Pixel are walking the Capital Ring to raise funds for the London Walking Festival.

Find all of the details at londonwalkingfestival.co.uk where you can sign up to organised walks, or even register your own walks.
I spend a lot of time out in parks and walks around London with Pixel, so this is a great opportunity to for the wee lad to tackle a bigger challenge as part of the walking festival.
We'll walk each of the 15 sections individually through May, and they range from 4 to 8 miles in length, with easy start and finish points close to public transport. If you'd like to join us on any of the sections please get in touch!

The Capital Ring is an urban walk in a smaller and more central loop around London than the London Loop, staying within 10 miles of Big Ben. Opened in 2005, it crosses the Thames at Richmond in the West and Woolwich in the East, and takes in many of the city's open spaces including Crystal Palace Park, Syon Park, Highgate Woods, Finsbury Park and Hackney Marshes.
You can find out more about each section on the Ramblers site here innerlondonramblers.org.uk/ideasforwalks/capital-ring-guides.html.

🤝 More connected – bringing communities together through shared experiences of nature
By walking together, we’re building a city where nature and people thrive side by side.
