Our Candidate Marion Fellows
Marion is absolutely delighted to have been selected to stand for the new constituency seat of Motherwell, Wishaw & Carluke. Having lived in the constituency for many many years, where she brought up her family and now her grandchildren, Marion understands the issues the local community faces on a day to day basis, where food banks have sadly become 'normal'.
Her commitment to representing the constituents of Motherwell, Wishaw & Carluke shines through in her dedication to addressing local issues and advocating for their needs in Parliament. Her extensive experience as an MP since 2015 demonstrates her capability in assisting constituents with various challenges and navigating governmental processes.
Our Campaign across Motherwell, Wishaw & Carluke.
As Chair of the Post Office Parliamentary Group, Marion's involvement in addressing the Horizon Scandal highlights her proactive approach to tackling systemic issues affecting communities across the UK. Her determination to continue advocating for justice in this matter reflects her steadfast commitment to serving the interests of her constituents.
Marion's campaign focuses on crucial issues such as the cost of living crisis, pension rights (including the WASPI campaign), asylum rules, foreign affairs, child maintenance reform, and disability rights. Her unwavering dedication to representing Scotland's interests in Westminster, despite attempts to silence voices for change, underscores her role as a strong advocate for her constituency and the broader Scottish community.
Through her continued efforts, she aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she represents and contribute to shaping a better future for Scotland by continue to be a strong voice for all.
Getting Marion's message out costs money.
We want to make sure voters in Motherwell Wishaw & Carluke know what Marion stands for, and what she will continue to do for them if re-elected.
The only way we can ensure we are reaching people is to send them the information directly to their doorstep. The real focus of course is canvassing, and having face-to-face conversations on the doorsteps, but we have to ensure that the message is getting to everyone. Every vote matters in this election, and we can't take anything for granted.
Every election is important, but this election is one of the most important of our lifetimes. The future of our country is at stake. Not just for the next five years – but for generations to come.
At the next General Election, a vote for the SNP is a vote for independence, to end austerity and protect our NHS. Westminster is taking Scotland down the wrong path – and it is doing so against our will. Our place in Europe, the future of our NHS, the nation we want to be – and will be - should not be for a Westminster Labour or Tory Government to decide.
Your Donation
You can donate any amount, no matter how small or large, as every leaflet we are able to print and every constituent we are able to reach, counts. We know money is tight for many at the moment, but we are grateful for any donation as it does and will make a difference.
PLEASE NOTE
If you are generous enough to donate more than £50 to our campaign, your name and address will be checked against the electoral register to ensure that you are eligible to donate. Your name, but not your address, will be made available by the council on request after the election.
