Please help us fund the staging of the comedy Marina and the Clone which will be performed at the Kings Arms Theatre from 15-18 March 2017

Marina and the Clone is my second play to make it to the stage. It will be performed for four nights at the Kings Arms, Salford, a place close to the heart of Salford and Manchester's fringe theatre scene.
I have been fortunate enough to be offered the financial support of Arts Council England who are helping me ensure that the cast and crew of the production are paid a fair wage for the work they're putting in.
This crowdfunder will help reach the balance of the projected budget along with the Arts Council funding, ticket sales and the money I am adding to the coffers by way of a private donation.
This is more than just a play to entertain people (though I sincerely hope it does that too). The production has a number of other aims including the development of the cast and other personnel - this is my first time as a full time producer, something I intend to turn into a career from here on in and we're currently recruiting an intern to shadow and learn the ropes; opening up a discussion about the themes of ageing and vanity through social media - find us on Twitter @marina_oliveto and also Facebook; and introducing people who might not normally watch plays to an easily accessible theatre experience.
There's no easy way to put this - I'm asking for your money... The project is not for profit and we're a small team trying to pull off what we hope you'll agree is a worthwhile project and an entertaining play. I have a reasonably small target of £300 to make the books balance so anything you feel you can spare to help me and the team achieve that goal will be really gratefully received - even if it's ony a few quid.
Thanks for reading and if you're able to help me out - thank you very much indeed.
