The newly formed Oxford Contemporary Opera Society (OCOS) is excited to announce that our first performance will be the UK premiere of Gavin Bryars' Marilyn Forever.
About the Opera
It is the night of August 5th, 1962, the last night of Marilyn Monroe's life. As men enter her bedroom, viewing her body, we see moments of her life interweaved with love, relationships, ambition, fame, identity, abandonment, myth and ultimately, death.

Performance dates are 22nd, 24th and 25th May 2019, in the
Funding
The society is not-for-profit. We rely on donations in order to operate, since the reasonable prices of our tickets fall short of funding the full cost of an opera. So far, we have received some kind donations, but we still have a way to go before this performance is fully funded!
We will gratefully appreciate any support you can give! Donations will go toward the cost of props and costumes.
This project offers rewards in return for your donation. Please select a reward below.
