March for hogs🦔

Aim

Walking a mile a day during March to raise money for Prickles and Paws.

Hedgehogs are now classified as Vulnerable to Extinction in the UK, its time for us to act to save this iconic species. Prickles and Paws is the main hedgehog rescue for Cornwall and last year they admitted an astounding 1,400 hogs. I am helping the charity to continue rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing hedgehogs by walking a mile a day for the month of March.

Hedgehogs easily roam a mile a night, during breeding season males will roam double this.

You’d be surprised just how far a mile is, hopefully walking this distance each day will help highlight the hazards hedgehogs face and the need for them to be able to access gardens
